For our last special edition for our Pride Model Citizens blog, we put the spotlight on one of your favorite couples on Pornhub — CallumandCole. Since they joined the Model Program two and a half years ago, Callum and Cole moved up in rank, landing a top 20 spot on Pornhub Gay and were nominated for a Pornhub Award in 2020.

What influenced you both to join the industry and the Pornhub Model Program?
We started web camming for fun, but it took off for us right from the beginning. Shortly after, we were creating custom videos and realized we needed someplace else to upload them. We then noticed our content was already being uploaded to Pornhub, so decided to create our own account and page and had the videos and views transferred over to us, and it all started from there!
How did you two meet?
We met a bar. I (Callum) was serving Cole as his bartender and that was the first time we met. He then kept coming back to the bar and after a couple of weeks, we had our first kiss outside on my break.
How has your relationship changed since joining the industry and what have you learned about yourselves?
We hadn’t known each other long before we started web camming and joined this industry, so we’ve had viewers watch us while we got to know each other. Our relationship kind of developed in front of the camera. It’s an unusual start, but it’s probably why we’re able to be so open with each other. It’s made us a super strong couple.
Callum: I’d say I’ve learned I'm capable of more than I originally thought. Being part of this industry has helped me grow as a person and given me a stronger outlook on life.
Cole: I’ve learned I’m not as shy as I thought I was before joining the industry.
Do you have advice for other couples who just joined or are thinking about joining the industry?
Our advice for other couples would be to have fun with it! Make sure you have a serious discussion and understand each other’s boundaries; they could be different in front of a camera and audience and you want it to be an enjoyable experience for you both. It makes a difference and the viewers will see that.
Has your perception of the industry changed since joining?
Our perception has massively changed since joining the industry. I would say we are both more open and accepting than before.
How did you feel when you were nominated for a Pornhub Award?
Being nominated last year for a Pornhub Award was a total shock to us; we honestly didn’t expect it! We both used to watch porn on Pornhub well before we got into the industry, so it was a pretty big deal to us. Although we didn’t win the category we were nominated for, we both felt like we already won just by being nominated.
You’re ranked in the top 20 right now on Pornhub Gay. What do you accredit your success to?
We think it comes down to the fact that we simply enjoy what we do and the content we create. It’s probably the most amateur types of porn, but it works for us. There’s no staging or faking. Our viewers often tell us that they can feel and see the passion we have for each other, so we think keeping it real and having fun with every kind of content we create must have something to do with it.
Are “Callum” and “Cole” personas you both put on for your brand or are they really you?
“Callum” and “Cole” help bring out a side of us that’s more real and have made us more confident individuals. We feel like we’re free to express ourselves sexually and explore new things without fear of judgment.
How are you celebrating Pride this year?
We’re celebrating Pride this year by attending different events across the UK. It’s something we’ve never done before since we come from a small city in Scotland where there isn’t much of a gay scene. So we’re really looking to celebrate Pride properly for the first time together this year!
Being part of both the LGBTQ+ and the adult community, we feel more of a responsibility to represent and educate people not only about our industry, but also about LGBTQ+ issues. We also still have so much to learn.
