View Fraud refers to video views generated by a bot and not actual individual users. Fraud hurts everyone, including other Models, their income, and the integrity of the Model Program. Buying views or faking views goes against our Terms of Services.
You may get asked or come across services that offer help to boost views. Participating in activities that manipulate your rank, views and earnings is considered fraudulent. We want to confirm that using these kinds of services is not tolerated in our paid programs.
It’s not uncommon for people to participate in these kinds of activities without realizing they’re breaking the terms of service.
If you’re approached on your PH account, email, or social media by someone claiming to be a “promotions expert” offering to promote your content to get more views, be very cautious as this is likely a scam.
These offers will often include screenshots of the Model Program earnings page with increased earnings to appear legitimate and entice the Model to follow through with the offer. We do not recommend accepting promotions from unverified people contacting you as the majority of them are bots.
Scam promoters will often offer a “free example” of increased views if you reply to their message. If the promoter tells you that they have promoted one of your videos, you can contact Model support to advise them that you suspect your video was targeted for view fraud.
Scammers will also sometimes pretend to be Pornhub staff when they do this. Any communications from us will come from a Pornhub domain email address and any staff accounts on Pornhub have a badge stating they are staff members. Be wary of users pretending to be Pornhub staff and sites promising to help boost views. If you have been contacted, you can report these users by contacting our support team. We want to ensure that our site is a safe and fair place for all content creators.
If you participate in fraudulent behavior by manipulating views and/or using these kinds of services to increase earnings through fake views, your account may be subject to consequences. For more information please visit our Help Center
